Open about the process
Step by step.
Getting closer.
This is the real Blakulla story: what we’ve done, what we’ve tested and what we’re working on. No progress percentages without something behind them.
Now: technical foundationsFirst platforms: Web/PWA → macOSPublic release: in progress

DoneTwo languages. Light and dark.
The home page and development log are available in Russian and English, built from shared text resources. We checked theme switching, navigation, icon previews and a narrow screen. Both languages are now required in the first messenger release.
DoneA look of our own
A blue mountain, a crescent moon and a circle of rabbits now shape the site. We’ve updated the light and dark themes, added the approved logos and prepared a vector mark with a separate menu bar version. Explore the three icons on the home page.
Plan approvedWeb first. Then Mac.
The first release will be a complete web app, installable as a PWA. Then comes macOS. iPhone and iPad are part of the shared architecture. We’re preparing email sign-in and email quota monitoring on the server.

DoneBlakulla: one name, one shared plan
We agreed on the name and the website and web app addresses. The specification added Web and Mac, email sign-in with a one-time code, persistent sessions and a personal page for each username.
Project change ↗Tested on the trial serverFoundations for real conversations
We launched the Matrix server and checked its API over HTTPS. Public registration and federation are disabled. Domains and HTTPS are connected. Next: email sign-in and client testing.
In progressA place to come to
blakulla.ru and its subdomains work over HTTPS. We’re preparing the shared foundations for the web and Mac apps. A downloadable build will appear here after testing.
How to read this page
“Done” means a change is saved. “Tested” means a check has been completed within the stated scope. “In progress” means the result isn’t ready. A server check alone does not mean messaging, client encryption or calls are ready.
